Microcleaning

A micro-cleaning system using compressed air can be used on highly sensitive surfaces that require non-destructive (i.e. zero surface contact) cleaning, for example semiconductors, spatial light modulators, CCD chips, OLEDs and similar advanced materials.

The cleaning process takes place under light microscope, where a manipulator is used to accurately position the nozzle close to the impurity. Millisecond pressure impulses of compressed air are applied to blast the impurity off the surface.
