Encoded Tilt Stage

This compact pre-tilted rotation stage is designed to fit inside the Phenom's sample holder. It has a single encoded rotation axis set at a pre-difined tilt.

Application example: Investigation of micro fossils.

• Pre-defined tilt angle: 54.7 deg
• Rotation through 360 deg
• Absolute accuracy < 0.2 deg (3x10^–3 rad)
• Repeatablity < 0.03 deg (4x10^–4 rad)
• Resolution: < 4 x 10^–7 deg (6.5 x 10^–9 rad)
